What skills or lessons have you learned recently?
What lesson have I recently learned? I have recently learned the hard lesson of giving too much. I can not pour from an empty cup. I recently vowed to no longer pour into cups that do not pour into mine. This has been a hard lesson, as I love to be helpful. But some take a helping hand and turn it into a burden. I can not enable those who refuse to help themselves.

If it is conditional, it is not ‘giving’, rather a transaction. Also, one who gives away does his karma. What one does is what one takes is his karma. There is no correlation.

I was speaking about those I give and give and give and give and they still choose to stay in a deplorable situation. I was not speaking of conditional giving nor of the provided examples. Yes indeed , no correlation because I am no longer correlating my self to their financial needs.
