When the noise of the day finally settles and the house grows still, storytime becomes so much more than just a transition to sleep. It’s the moment where the world shrinks down to just you, your child, and the quiet truth of the words you share together.
In those stillness-filled minutes, kids listen with their whole hearts. They soak in not just the story, but the feeling of being held, heard, and safe.
When I started writing “Sharing Kindness Wherever I Go”, I wanted to capture that exact feeling. Emma’s journey through the quiet forest is a gentle reminder that kindness isn’t usually a grand gesture, it’s found in how we pause, how we listen, and how we care for the small world right around us. Working alongside such incredible artists to bring her world to life has been a reminder of how much heart goes into the simple things.
As we get closer to bringing Emma’s story into your homes, I find myself thinking about the stories that shaped our own hearts when we
were small.
I would love to know:
🌟 What is a story or lesson from your own childhood bedtime reading that stayed with you as you grew up?
🌟What heart lessons are you hoping to pass along to the little ones in your life right now?
