Licorice Root Tincture

For a while now I have been diving into natural remedies. My goal was and is to acquire a medicine cabinet made from God given resources capable and suffice to care for most if not all ailments. Here is one tincture I think works really well for all sorts of problems. It is great to have on hand for overall well being but should be used in moderation.
Licorice root tincture offers a wide range of potential benefits! Let’s highlight some of the key advantages:

It’s amazing how one herb can have so many potential benefits! However, remember to consume licorice root in moderation and consult with a healthcare professional, especially if you have specific health concerns or interact with medications.



Licorice Root Tincture

Treatments:

Aches, pains, digestion, and mood.

Ingredients:

12 C Dandelion Root

1/2 C Orange Peel, dried

12 C Yellow Dock Root

12 C Licorice Root

12 C Fennel Seed

14 C Burdock Root

1/4 C Calendula Flowers

1 C Water, boiling

Vodka

Instructions:

1. Roughly chop all of the herbs then combine in a quart-sized bo mason jar.

2. Add one-cup boiling water.

3. Stir to moisten the herbs, and then allow cooling.

4. Once cool, fill the remaining space with vodka.

5. Cover the jar and store in a cool, dark place for four to six weeks (add more vodka as necessary to keep the ingredients submerged).

6. Strain the mixture and express all stored liquid from the ingredients.

7. Pour into small brown tinctures with labels and store in a cool,

If being used for digestive reasons, add 12-15 dropperfuls in warm water 30 minutes before a meal.
