Father help me please.
I am here on my knees.
I know You know what I need
Before I even say my pleas.
This pain is too much to take
And I cant see my escape.
I know Your promises never break.
I know You love me more that i can articulate.
But right now my worries seem giant.
Without You in it, I aint even going to try it.
With You mountains fall at my feet.
Without You, I don’t even know what direction I need.
So Father help me please
To navigate these troubled seas.
My vessel is growing weak
Heavenly Father don’t let me sink.
Wrap me in your arm tonight
I can no longer fight this fight.
Allow me in Your presence so I can rest.
I need a break from this fleshly test.
Tomorrow I’ll wake ready to conquer the rest.
But for now send me The Comforter at His best.
Not defeated, just need to take a breath.
Let not today be the day to mark my death.
