What job would I do free? Well, the job I do every day of course. Raising beautifully imperfect little followers of Jesus Christ. Each day is a blessing I try to cherish despite the chaos that usually surrounds us. Some days I fail, some days I nail it, but everyday we worship God. It amazes me as I watch each milestone come and go, a bitter sweet occurrence. One day, when this career has transitioned into another season, I will look back on these days with a longing memory. By far my most favorite job in the world is growing my family. We are blessed beyond measure, a perfectly imperfect family.
What Olympic sports do you enjoy watching the most?
What Olympic sport do you enjoy watching the most? I do not watch the Olympics so I do not have a favorite. I can’t even say I have a favorite sport. If I had to choose I would say basketball but I cannot recall the last game I saw. Then again I saw a slap challenge that was oddly considered a sport the other day. That was interesting and the last sport I was a spectator for. Who knew landing a slap with force and accuracy with the intent of causing an opponent to lose consciousness was a sport. Very fascinating to say the least.
I was not sure where this blog would lead me but I know one thing for sure, I wanted to use it to plant seeds for God. I wanted to use my writing to glorify God and draw people to His way. I thought a daily Bible study would be a great idea. I have been posting daily articles that provide one verse, the chapter that correlates to the verse, along with a video that covers the specific chapter. I post this in hopes to meet each and every person where they are in God’s word. Whether they felt a verse was enough to fill them or a whole chapter. I want to provide encouragement and a convenient place to study the Bible. I do not follow the traditions of men but rather search diligently for the whole truth in God’s word. I have had a lot of reader comments and share how much they enjoy my daily Bible study tools. In order to have content for the more serious Bible students I will soon be posting Genesis through Revelations, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. Straight from the word of God and read along by Pastor Dennis and Arnold Murray. I hope to give each reader a deeper and more meaningful understanding of the Bible. I hope to help readers gain listening ears and eyes to see and strengthen their relationship with our heavenly father. Join me as we learn about the three Earth ages and many many other things that the average church will never speak of. Posts will begin April 7th!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV https://bible-strong.app
John 3 1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
24 For John was not yet cast into prison.
25 Then there arose a question between some of John’s disciples and the Jews about purifying.
26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.
27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.
29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom’s voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
30 He must increase, but I must decrease.
31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18 KJV https://bible-strong.app
I Corinthians 1 1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,
2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:
3 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
4 I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;
5 That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;
6 Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:
7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:
8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;
15 Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.
16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.
17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?
How have I adapted to the changes brought on by Covid-19 pandemic? I have adapted by having my eyes opened wide to the government’s corruption and greedy ways. I already knew it wasn’t great but I had no idea how bad until then.
My oldest daughter was just four weeks old. My husband and I discovered black mold in our house and moved out. We stayed in hotels for about a month until I moved in with my father. Days later we were on lock down. It made it even more difficult living with someone but that also had its benefits. For instance, my interest rate for my house is wonderful.
I watched as the government used scare tactics and multiplication to control people and convince them to get a vaccination. My company went as far as offering $100 for getting the jab. People were separated from their dying loved ones, forced to live the last few moments all alone. I feared just returning to work could cause the deadly disease to hitch a ride back home to my family. I feared for my husband, as his health wasn’t the greatest, and for my daughter who was so little at the time.
I watched as my county came to an almost stand still. I watched as my government decided who were essential workers and who were not. They closed down schools, stores and churches. I watched as chaos ensued and grocery stores went empty and toilet paper was nearly extinct. I watched as person after person lined up to get their jab. Now blood clots have been reported, aids, heart murmurs, and so many other side effects. I watched as so called health officials deemed what were safe and effective measures that we now know now, only made us sicker.
I adapted by becoming more self reliant and more self sufficient. I started doing research and the more I read, the more I uncovered the monstrosities of government agencies, doctors and scientists. I went down a worm hole and found monterey gains at the expected of people’s sickness and lives. I have zero trust in our health system. In fact, I had my last child at home and she has yet to see a doctor. Unless an emergency happens none of my kids will ever go again. There is no point of lining the pockets of people who get paid to keep you sick.
God gave you a perfect body with its own immune system for a reason. God gave us herbs and things in nature to cure us and live us of our ailments. What did the wise men bring to Mary? Frankincense and Myrrh. Did you know that natural pain relief is just one of many powerful uses for Myrrh? It also aids in recovery after postpartum. Frankincense has great antimicrobial and antiinflammatory properties. Knowledge like this and much more have been lost due to man creating man made versions of these natural remedies and deeming them superior. It’s hard to profit off of something anyone can go out in the wild and harvest themselves.
I have adapted by becoming more confident in my own capabilities and my faith in God.
The quack of a duck The flack of a truck A jack of a buck A tack of a tuck A slap of a bluff In a hidden tuff
The wave of a wand The whistle of a mistel The twist is a wrist The act of dismissal
The chime of the time The reckoning of reasoning The bleat of defeat The howl of the darkness It’s coming after me
The side of a dime The passage of time The clink of a clank The chink of a chank The sigh of the guy who watches it dive
Total desolation with no resolution As the dust settles Carnage of metal I know the cost but what’s the cause For innocent lives lost The song of silence lies between compliance and defiance.
I let my pen lead me today and this is what came out. Hmmmmm🤔…. I’m not sure what to think about it. I wasn’t going to post it but decided to anyway. As some may have noticed I use meta ai at times to add pictures to my posts. Here is a gem that made me giggle as I was trying to generate the image above.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV https://bible-strong.app
II Chronicles 7 1 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.
2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD’S house.
3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.
4 Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the LORD.
5 And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.
6 And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD, which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.
7 Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brasen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.
8 Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt.
9 And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.
10 And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the LORD had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.
11 Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.
12 And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.
13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
17 And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments;
18 Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.
19 But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;
20 Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.
21 And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house?
22 And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them.
What are your morning rituals? What does the first hour of your day look like?
What are my morning rituals? Well, if I manage to drag myself out of bed before my little ones get up then I prefer to have a moment of peace with my heavenly Father. This luxury is rare as I am usually run out of bed by my soon to be one year old. I wake up and make coffee and breakfast for the children. Then I homeschool my kids until it is time for me to go to work. My mornings are usually chaotic and filled with my children’s needs. Crazy my mornings may be, but it’s my favorite time of the day. I am blessed to be able to homeschool my children and have the extra time with them. God blesses me and my family exceedingly.
