The chime of the time
The reckoning of reasoning
The bleat of defeat
The howl of the darkness
It’s coming after me

The side of a dime
The passage of time
The clink of a clank
The chink of a chank
The sigh of the guy
who watches it dive

Total desolation
with no resolution
As the dust settles 
Carnage of metal
I know the cost but what’s the cause
For innocent lives lost
The song of silence lies between compliance and defiance.

I let my pen lead me today and this is what came out. Hmmmmm🤔…. I’m not sure what to think about it. I wasn’t going to post it but decided to anyway. As some may have noticed I use meta ai at times to add pictures to my posts. Here is a gem that made me giggle as I was trying to generate the image above.
